Authors
Each year the state’s best young authors come to the Milwaukee Art Museum for inspiration, collaboration, and the opportunity to be published with the state’s best and brightest. Working inside the museum, students use the art to find a connection to a personal story in their life. Working in small groups, students share connections, share ideas, and share their drafts. Constructive suggestions are shared before the authors write a revised piece to be submitted. Each first person, non-fiction narrative will be edited and published. Each student will receive a copy of the completed book. The “Stories” video is a sample of several stories from a wide-range of students from the conference.
